Windowsill

Key Features
A windowsill, also known as a window ledge, is the shelf-like, flat piece of the window trim found at the base of the window.
Windowsills are important to:
- Increase Structural Integrity. The rigid sill on the bottom helps eliminate flexing to support the structure
- Improved Energy Efficiency. Provides barrier for thermal insulation to be installed
- Ensure Water Protection. Protects the wall and leads water away from the building when it rains and not into your home
- Provide Decorative Space. Showcase plants, pictures, candles, etc.
For the outside we offer a customized Aluminum profile, powdered in window frame colour. At the inside we usually install quartz stone or marble.
